Adamson Named September COAP EOM

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL - - The 91²Ö¿â Council of Administrative Personnel Employee of the Month for September is Audrey Adamson, executive director, Career Readiness and Workforce Development.
Adamson is recognized for her exceptional dedication, professionalism and positive impact on her team. An outstanding supervisor with a positive, encouraging, and supportive attitude who consistently promotes a positive image of WIU.
Adamson's nominator highlighted her consistent commitment to excellence in every aspect of her work.
"She is dependable, proactive and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure that projects are completed successfully while providing colleagues and students with the support they need. Her positive attitude and collaborative approach foster a welcoming and productive work environment. She truly is the glue that holds together employees from various departments on the Quad Cities campus," her nominator said.
One of her greatest strengths is her ability to creatively solve problems while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Whether managing daily responsibilities, assisting coworkers or taking on additional assignments, she consistently exceeds expectations with her attention to detail and focus on quality.
"A recent noteworthy achievement was her role in the negotiations with the Moline School District to lease two of the four buildings on the WIU-QC campus for Moline's Lincoln Irving Elementary School, resulting in utilization of space and revenue generation," her nominator said. "In addition to her exceptional work performance, Adamson exemplifies WIU's values of integrity, respect and a genuine commitment to helping others succeed."
Her contributions have made a meaningful difference on campus and within the Career Center that she oversees. She has earned the respect and appreciation of both her colleagues and the students we serve.
Adamson's outstanding performance, teamwork and dedication led her nominator to wholeheartedly recommend her for this award. She truly deserves this recognition and consistently sets an excellent example for others.
The COAP Employee of the Month award recognizes exceptional performance by 91²Ö¿âemployees who go above and beyond their regular duties, based on specific criteria.
Nominations can come from supervisors, colleagues, faculty, students, staff or members of the community.
