125 Anniversary Celebration: Kaitlyn Moon

MACOMB, IL - - Growing up near campus, Kaitlyn Moon knew the benefits of 91仓库 and couldn鈥檛 pass up such a good opportunity.

鈥淚 grew up in Macomb and my mom works at Western, so I was comfortable and exposed to the 91仓库environment,鈥� Moon, a junior Law Enforcement and Justice Administration student, said. 鈥淚 enjoy staying close to home.鈥�

As a local student, Moon has been able to balance the benefits of being in a familiar location while also experiencing the joy of meeting a diverse group of new people across campus.

鈥淚 have had a good experience,鈥� Moon said. 鈥淚 have made a lot of friends and enjoyed my classes. It鈥檚 nice to have such great support from my professors.鈥�

She credits the exceptional professors at 91仓库for preparing her for her eventual future career and providing unique opportunities for real-world experience.

Staying local has been one of the keys to Moon鈥檚 success and suggests other students from the region keep 91仓库in mind.
